Enjoy our suggestions for travelling to Valdelinares by motorhome or camper van.

We suggest renting a motorhome and spending a few unforgettable days, whether on your own, with family, or with friends—sounds good, doesn’t it?

Think about it: it could be just what you need. For a few days, you can go and relax without worrying about accommodation—you just have to choose your destination.

We recommend a trip to Valdelinares, a small village of medieval origin that will captivate you. It is located in the Gúdar-Javalambre region in the province of Teruel. It is one of the highest villages in Spain (1,700 metres). You will be amazed by its old buildings, its stone houses, narrow streets and squares, where you can sample Aragonese cuisine.

Places you cannot miss:

  • Church of Our Lady of the Snows, a Baroque-style church that you can admire.
  • Hermitage of San Cristóbal, from where you will have excellent views of the village.
  • Hermitage of Our Lady of Loreto, built in the 18th century.
  • Calle del Sol Viewpoint, from where you can admire the wonderful natural landscape of Valdelinares.
  • Camarena de la Sierra Spa.
  • Manzanera Spa.

Natural places you cannot miss:

  • Ski resort, where you can enjoy snow sports. You can check slope information on the official website.
  • Valdelinares to Alcalá de la Selva hike, a very beautiful hike that will take you to a picturesque castle. In winter, we will do it with snowshoes from the Loreto hermitage. You can view the route here.
  • Circular hike: ski resort, Peñarroya, La Chaparrilla and back to the resort. Route: View route on Wikiloc
  • Valdelinares hike: Peñarroya, Fuente de La Chaparrilla and back to Valdelinares. View route on Wikiloc

Where to eat:

  • Casa Damián.
  • Mesón Casa Vicenta.

Places to stay overnight:

  • Alcalá de la Selva (Fuente de la Chaparrilla). From the ski slope, take the third roundabout towards Valdelinares; when you reach the pass with two dirt tracks, take the one on the left as you go down, towards Fuente de la Chaparrilla.
